Privacy Policy
This page explains what personal data SKY7 Academy collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We have written it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate, because a policy you cannot read protects nobody.

Who we are
SKY7 Academy (“SKY7”, “we”, “us”) is a career-focused digital skills academy operating from F7, First Floor, Imperial Plaza, Jamalpur, Anoop Shahar Road, Aligarh, UP. We run the website sky7academy.com.
For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”), SKY7 Academy is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below, and you are the Data Principal.
What personal data we collect
We only collect what we need in order to talk to you about a course:
- Information you give us in a form: your name and mobile number (both required), and optionally your email address, which programme you are interested in, who you are (student, fresher, working professional, or business owner), and any message you write.
- Information collected automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you reached our site, and similar analytics data collected through cookies and comparable technologies.
- Information you send us directly: anything you choose to tell us when you call or message us on WhatsApp.
We do not ask for, and you should never send us, financial information such as card or bank details, government identifiers such as Aadhaar or PAN, health information, or passwords.
Why we collect it, and your consent
When you submit an enquiry form, you are giving us your consent to use your details for the purposes below. That consent is the legal basis on which we process your data under the DPDP Act, and you can withdraw it at any time (see Your rights below).
- To call or message you back about the programme you enquired about, and to answer your questions about fees, batch dates and timings.
- To tell you about the specific SKY7 programme you asked about, including a free demo class if you requested one.
- To keep a record of your enquiry so our team knows who has already been contacted.
- To understand which pages and advertisements bring people to us, so we can improve the site and spend our advertising budget sensibly.
We do not use your personal data for any purpose you would not reasonably expect from the above, and we do not process it for automated decision-making.
Cookies, analytics and advertising technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary to make the site work. Others help us measure how the site performs and how our advertising is doing. Specifically, we use:
- Google Tag Manager — a container that loads the tools below. It does not itself build a profile of you.
- Google Analytics 4 — tells us, in aggregate, how many people visit, which pages they read, and which actions they take (for example, submitting an enquiry form or tapping the call button). We use this to improve the site, not to identify you personally.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel) — placed on our pages by us. It tells Meta Platforms, Inc. that a visit or an enquiry happened, so that we can measure whether our Facebook and Instagram advertising works, and so that Meta can show our ads to people more likely to be interested. This may involve Meta matching your activity to a Meta account you are logged into, and may be used for retargeting — meaning you may later see SKY7 ads on Facebook or Instagram.
You can stop these at any time. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and you can control how Meta uses your data for advertising in your Facebook Ad Preferences. Blocking these will not stop you using our website or enquiring with us.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We have never sold it and we do not intend to. We do not share your enquiry details with other institutes or lead-selling networks.
We do rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf in order to run the website and respond to you:
- Vercel Inc. — hosts this website and serves its pages.
- Railway Corp. — hosts the database in which your enquiry is stored.
- Google LLC — Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, as described above, and Google Chat, which we use internally to alert our team that a new enquiry has arrived so we can call you back quickly.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — the Meta Pixel, as described above.
Some of these providers may store or process data on servers outside India. We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so, for example in response to a valid order from a court or a government authority.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we are in contact with you about a programme, and afterwards only for as long as we have a genuine reason to — for example, so that we recognise you if you come back to us later. If you ask us to erase your data, we will do so unless we are required by law to keep it.
How we protect it
Your enquiry is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and stored in a database that is not publicly readable — our website can create an enquiry but cannot read enquiries back, and access to the admin system is restricted to our team. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable safeguards appropriate to the small amount of data we hold.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Ask us what personal data of yours we hold and how we are using it.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete.
- Ask us to erase your personal data when we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it to us for.
- Withdraw your consent at any time — simply tell us and we will stop contacting you and erase your details, unless the law requires us to keep them.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Raise a grievance with us, and escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. There is no charge, and we will not make it difficult.

Our programmes are intended for students, graduates, working professionals and business owners. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian contact us on your behalf, and do not submit your details through this website. If we learn that we have collected a child's personal data without verifiable consent from a parent or guardian, we will erase it.
